The Learning Environment remains for 12 hours a day and is Focussed on Research and Field projects on continual basis while Partnering with industry. A compulsory 8 weeks summer internship after Year one is to be completed by the students.

Admission Process

Application Status: Closed

The step by step admission process for MSc Finance programme at JBIMS is as below:

  • For Shortlisting purpose candidates will be screened based on MAH MBA CET score or CAT exam score 
  • Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Writing Ability Test (WAT); Group Activity (GA) and Personal Interview
  • Based on the performance on Entrance Exam, WAT, GA, PI, Academics, Extra curricular achievements among other parameters, final section will be made

How to Apply

The desirous candidates will apply on the portal of the JBIMS for admission to MHRD Programme. The application form will be opened for a stipulated period for applying to the admission process of MHRD 

Selection Process

Based on the performance on Entrance Exam, WAT, GA, PI, Academics, Extra curricular achievements among other parameters, final section will be made by awarding weightage to each of these parameters. While out of 100 score before Personal Assessment round the weightages awarded are 60% for Entrance exam; 15% for Academics; 5% for Diversity; 20% for Extra curricular and work experience. The next part is personal assessment which again has 100 score and the weightages for personal assessment are 60% for PI round; 20% for GA round and 20% for WAT.  As such, out of the total 200 score, the minimum Total Score (TS) required to be considered for admission to M.Sc. Finance is 50 for General Category and 45 for Reserve category. This will be as per the seat allocation done by Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Maharashtra, Mumbai for MH-CET.
