4. MAH MBA CET CAP 2025 Eligibility Criteria

MBA CET CAP Eligibility Criteria as prescribed overall by CET cell is different for Maharashtra State (MS) category candidates, All India category or Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) category candidates (including Jammu & Kashmir Migrant candidates) and NRI / OCI / PIO Foreign National, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries. 

While the details of category wise DTE CAP eligibility criteria are given below, the broad difference is that Maharashtra State candidates must have taken MAH MBA CET 2025 while other category candidates can register for MAH MBA CET CAP 2025 based on scores of MAH CET 2025; CAT 2024, CMAT 2025 and other All India MBA entrance tests. The category wise MBA CET CAP Eligibility Criteria 2025 is shared below:

a) Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra State Category Students 
(i)The Candidate should be an Indian National; (ii) Passed minimum three year duration Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any of the Universities recognized by UGC or AIU in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories, Economically weaker section and Persons With Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) (iii) The candidate should have obtained non zero positive score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority (MAHMBA/MMS-CET 2025).

b) Eligibility Criteria for All India Category
(i)The Candidate should be an Indian National; (ii) Passed minimum Three year duration Bachelor’s Degree awarded by the University recognised by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent (at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories, Economically weaker section and Persons With Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) or its equivalent; (iii) The candidate should have obtained non zero positive score in any one of the following examinations. CET (MAH MBA CET) or CAT or XAT or ATMA or CMAT or MAT. 

c) Eligibility Criteria for NRI/ OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National
i) Passed minimum Three year duration Bachelor’s Degree awarded by the University recognised by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or its equivalent. (ii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

5. MAH MBA CET CAP 2025 Round Process – Step-by-Step Guide

Participation in MAH MBA CET CAP Round requires a mandatory registration, document submission and many other steps, as outlined below. 
Step 1 - Register for CAP:

  • Candidates must visit the official State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra website.
  • Click on the CAP Registration link and create an account using personal details, MAH CET score, and contact information.
  • Pay the CAP registration fee (if applicable) and submit the form.

Step 2 - Upload Documents:

b) Access the CAP Registration Link:
