The highest score awarded in MAH CET 2025 is 99.99 percentile. JBIMS, SIMSREE, PUMBA have cut offs between 99 to 99.95 percentile. No candidate scores 100 percentile in MAH MBA CET exam. The cut offs for final selection and allotment of seat in top MBA college through CAP for MBA 2025 admission are expected to remain low since the top score in MAH MBA CET does not go very high.
There are minimum three CAP rounds. After each of the three CAP rounds, category wise merit list will be generated with cut offs and the candidates will be allotted designated B-school as per their merit position. Within a day or two these candidates will have to report to the allotted B-schools and accept the admission offer. However, facility is provided by CET Cell to participate in further CAP rounds also to explore admission chances in a better college.
For MBA/MMS admission seekers through CAP 2025, following instructions are issued by CET Cell
While a major chunk of seats to the tune of 65% to 85% reserved for Maharashtra state candidates and minority category, there are 15% to 35% seats which are offered to All India category candidates. This number increases in case of non reporting by MAH State category candidates and the vacant seats are offered to All India category candidates.
Since not all the MBA admissions in Maharashtra B-schools may be finalised through CAP round, there would be many vacant seats in MBA colleges. CET Cell Maharashtra clarifies ‘The seats remaining vacant after offering admissions to the candidates through CAP due to non reporting and cancellation after CAP Round-III will be filled in by the managements of the respective institutes. Admission authorities of the respective institutes will have to process these admissions strictly as per the CET guidelines.’
•Candidates who have not registered for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2025 but have obtained valid score in CAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, MAT, GMAT can participate in CAP round 2025 by paying CAP registration fees of Rs.1200.
•The candidates who have registered for MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2025 are not required to pay any fees for CAP registration.
•In all top MBA colleges like JBIMS, SIMSREE, PUMBA minimum 15% seats are reserved for All India category candidates.
