2. MAH MBA CET Exam Eligibility 2025 Educational Qualifications

MAH MBA CET Eligibility 2025 Academic Qualification require you to have a consistent good academic record. Higher the score from class 10 onwards, more weightage you will get in MBA admission process. To appear in MAH MBA CET 2025, you should have following academic qualifications:

2.1 Eligibility of MAH CET 2025 for Class 10 & Class 12

  • Candidates must have a consistent record of academic performance in class 10 & 12
  • Score above 60% in class 10 & 12 will give you additional weightage

2.2 MAH CET Eligibility 2025 for Completed Graduation Course
For those who have completed graduation degree, the MAH MBA CET Exam Eligibility 2025 Educational Qualifications is as below:

  • For General Category: A graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in bachelor’s degree 
  • For Reserved Category (SC/ST): A graduate in any discipline with minimum 45% marks in bachelor’s degree

2.3 MAH CET Eligibility Criteria: Final Year Students
The MAH CET Eligibility 2025 for Final Year Students in Bachelor’s Degree program is different. If you are in final year of graduate courses of 10+2+3 or 10+2+4, or have completed graduation but are waiting for result, you are also eligible to apply for MAH CET 2025, but with a rider. In both the cases, your result should be declared before commencement of admission for academic year 2025-26. 

2.4 MAH MBA CET Eligibility 2025 Criteria: Different Academic Streams
There is no discrimination on any academic stream and all the UGC/AICTE/MHRD recognized graduation programs qualify for MAH CET eligibility criteria 2025 including Arts/Humanities; Commerce; Science; Engineering; Technology; Fine Arts; Medical and Paramedical; CA/CS/ICWA and all other academic streams.

2.5 MAH MBA CET Eligibility Criteria 2025 - Marks Calculation
If your marks sheet shows maximum marks, marks obtained with percentage of marks, the calculation of marks and percentage of marks are taken as per your marks sheet. However, in other cases the calculation of marks to determine the MAH MBA CET eligibility criteria will be as under:

  • Aggregate Percentage of marks obtained by the candidate would be taken into account
  • In case of grades/CGPA, it will be converted to percentage of marks

2.5.1 MAH MBA CET eligibility Criteria: Marks Calculation from CGPA/Grades
The process of MAH CET Eligibility Determination by converting CGPA/Grades to Percentage of Marks is done as below:

  • To determine MAH MBA CET Eligibility, in case CGPA is given and no percentage of marks is shared on the marks-sheet, the percentage of marks obtained by the candidate would be calculated based on the practice as followed by the respective University/Institution.
  • The conversion to percentage of marks from Grades/CGPA would be based on the procedure as certified by the respective University/Institution.
  • If any University/Institution confirms that there is no scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA, and multiplying the result with 100.

2.6 MAH CET Exam Eligibility for Backlogs Candidates in Graduation
If you have completed your graduation but have a backlog, you can apply for MAH MBA CET 2025 and will be treated as the final year student of bachelor’s degree. As such the candidates who are completing their degree in 2025 are eligible to appear for MAH CET. The candidate should select and fill his graduation status as final year bachelor’s student. 

3. MAH MBA CET Eligibility Age Criteria 2025

MAH MBA CET eligibility 2025 age criteria does not impose any age bar to appear in the exam. The Eligibility of MAH CET 2025 does not prescribe any Minimum or Maximum MAH CET age limit Restrictions putting any restraint for MAH CET Eligibility 2025 for any category of candidates who are applying for MAH MBA CET 2025 exam. Check details below:

Minimum MAH CET Age Limit: No minimum age is required to appear in MAH CET exam. However, the candidate should have done or should be in the final year of graduation. If you complete graduation at 18 or 19 years of age, you are eligible to appear in MAH MBA CET, and if you complete graduation at 21 or 22 years of age, again you are eligible to appear in MAH MBA CET 2025.

Maximum MAH CET Age Limit for MAH MBA CET Eligibility: MAH CET eligibility 2025 does not prescribe any maximum age. A candidate with 60 years of age or 80 years of age can also apply and appear in MAH CET 2025.

4. MAH MBA CET Eligibility Criteria Entrance Exam

For MBA admission 2025, MAH MBA entrance exam eligibility criteria for different category of candidates are as below:
Maharashtra State Category Candidates: All the Maharashtra State (MS) domicile candidates have to appear in MAH MBA CET exam 2025. Based on MAH CET exam score, MS category candidates will be shortlisted for DTE CAP round for final admission.

All India Category (Outside Maharashtra State Category) candidates: All India Category candidates called as Outside Maharashtra State candidates, will be considered for admission based on MAH MBA CET, CAT, XAT as well CMAT exam score by DTE Maharashtra.

5. MAH MBA CET 2025 Eligibility- Reservation Criteria

MAH MBA CET Exam Eligibility 2025 for General and Reserved category is different from other exams. CET Cell Maharashtra has different reservation criteria 2025 for Maharashtra State candidates and for All India category candidates. The candidates are classified as Open (Treated like General) Category from Outside Maharashtra State. The reserved category candidates from Maharashtra State domicile are treated as Reserved category. The classification for Open and Reserved category candidates is below:

  • All the Outside Maharashtra (OMS) All India Category candidates despite being of EWS, NC-OBC, SC/ST category will be treated as Open category Candidates
  • All the Maharashtra State unreserved category candidates will be treated as Open category candidates
  • Only the SC/ST/PwD candidates or other reserved category candidates of Maharashtra State will be treated as Reserved category candidates and will get benefit of reservations in admission process.

5.1 MAH CET Reservation Criteria for All India Category Candidates
15% to 35% seats are reserved for All India category candidates, out of total 40,000 seats available in MBA Colleges in Maharashtra. Read below the eligibility criteria to avail reservation benefits as All India Category candidates in admission process through MAH MBA CET 2025 and other exams 

  • MAH CET Exam Eligibility Criteria for Reservation of MBA/MMS Seats for all India category candidates include all the applicants from any part of India (Other than Maharashtra State) provided he/she has obtained required minimum qualification of 50% marks in Graduation
  • All the applicants qualifying the MAH MBA/ MMS CET 2025 Eligibility Criteria of all India category will be considered for admission based on MAH MBA CET exam, CAT, XAT, CMAT exam in all the MBA colleges that offer admission through Maharashtra DTE CAP round.

5.2 MAH MBA CET Reservation for Maharashtra State Domicile Candidates
Seat Reservation for Maharashtra State (MS) category candidates out of 40,000 MBA seats is 65% to 85% for Maharashtra State Open and Reserved category candidates.
Reservation criteria for Maharashtra State domicile candidates is split into Open category and Reserved category. There are three categories of Maharashtra State candidates who will get reservation benefit in MBA admission through MBA CET exam:

Category-1: The candidate has Maharashtra State Domicile Open category candidate
Category-2: The candidate has Maharashtra State Domicile as well as Home University Open category. It means that the candidate has completed graduation from the university to which the MBA college is affiliated
Category-3: The candidate is of SC/ST/PwD and other reservation category as specified by Govt of Maharashtra and is also of Maharashtra domicile. 

6. MAH CET Eligibility 2025: Types of MS Domicile Candidates

There are five types of category division to get the status of Maharashtra State category candidate. Qualifying on any of these types could place your candidature as the Maharashtra State (MS) candidate. Registering and applying for MAH CET 2025 as MS candidate opens more opportunities and more admission options in MBA/MMS 2025-27 batch in top MBA colleges in Maharashtra.
 
6.1 MS candidate: Type A
MAH CET Eligibility Criteria 2025 for Maharashtra State Type A candidates is as below: 

  • An aspirant who has passed HSC and qualifying examination from Maharashtra state is a Maharashtra Candidate
  • If the applicant didn’t pass HSC but passed Diploma in Engineering / Technology / Pharmacy and any other qualifying examination from Maharashtra State, he/she is to be termed as Maharashtra State Candidate
  • In addition to this fact, if the Candidate is Domiciled or Born in the State of Maharashtra, he/she is the Maharashtra State Candidate and should mention it while registering and applying for MAH CET 2025 online. 

 
6.2 MS Candidate: Type B
MAH CET Eligibility Criteria 2025 for Maharashtra State Type B candidates is as below: 

  • You could be Maharashtra State (MS) Candidate if you or your Father or Mother is domiciled in the State of Maharashtra
  • It is not necessary that you were born or studied in the State of Maharashtra
  • In case it is the place of domicile of any 3 of you as shared above, you could reap the benefits of being an MS candidate

 
6.3 MS Candidate: Type C
MAH CET Eligibility Criteria 2025 for Maharashtra State Type C candidates is as below: 

  • If either of your parents i.e. Father or Mother, is an employee of the Government of India or Government of India Undertaking who is posted and reported to duty in Maharashtra State before the last date for submitting the application for admission, you are a Maharashtra State candidate.
  • If you wish to appear in MAH MBA/MMS CET 2025 as a Maharashtra State candidate and your parents are supposed to report for duty in Maharashtra state but are delaying it, if they report for duty you can apply for MAH CET 2025 as an MS candidate to gain all the benefits of Maharashtra State candidature

6.4 MS Candidate: Type D
MAH CET 2025 Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra State Type D candidates is as below:

  • An applicant will be considered as Maharashtra State Candidate if his/her Father or Mother is an employee of the Government of Maharashtra/Government of Maharashtra Undertaking or are retired employees of above
  • Although such employees are usually not posted out of the state, in case they are posted in some other states or are on deputation to some other departments, the candidate would still be considered as Maharashtra state candidate

6.5 MS Candidate: Type E
MAH CET 2025 Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra State Type E candidates is as below:

  • Candidates passing HSC or passing diploma in Engineering or Technology or Pharmacy and also Qualifying Examination from a recognized institution located in a disputed Maharashtra Karnataka Border area or from Maharashtra, residing in the disputed Maharashtra Karnataka Border area and whose mother tongue is Marathi are MS candidates.

7. MAH MBA CET Eligibility 2025: Fee Concession

MAH CET 2025 eligibility for fee concession while applying for the exam for different category of candidates is as below:

  • MAH MBA CET 2025 Fee for Open (General) Category: Rs.1200
  • MAH MBA CET 2025 Fees Concession Eligibility for Maharashtra Domicile Open (General) category candidates: Rs.1200 
  • MAH MBA CET 2025 Fees Concession Eligibility for NC OBC/SC/ ST/ Transgender category as specified by DTE Maharashtra: Rs.1000

8. Eligibility Criteria of MAH CET 2025: Work Experience

There is no mandatory MAH CET exam eligibility criteria – work experience requirements. In the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by DTE Maharashtra after release of MAH CET result, additional weightage to work experience may be awarded to the candidate who has gained quality Work Experience in supervisory cadre after completing his/her graduation as below:

  • The maximum weightage is between 10 to 15 percent for work experience in final selection for the quality work experience of supervisory category
  • Maximum weightage is awarded to the work experience period of 24 to 36 months.

9. Who is Not Eligible for MAH MBA CET 2025? CET Cell Clarifies

  • If you are not pursuing or completed your Bachelor’s degree or any Professional degree like CA/CS/ICWA, you are not eligible to appear for MAH MBA CET 2025
  • If you have scored below 50% marks in graduation as a general category candidate and below 45% as SC/ST/PwD candidate you are not eligible for MAH CET
  • If your Graduation is not recognized by UGC/AICTE/MHRD-Govt. of India, you are not eligible to apply for MAH CET 2025
  • If you have furnished wrong information in your MAH MBA CET Application form, you will be debarred from the exam and admission process and will be declared Not Eligible
