AP ICET Counselling 2019

AP-ICET 2019 counselling starts in August 16, 2019 at 9 A.M. in 23 Counselling Centres in Andhra Pradesh. Before exercising options in counselling candidates have to get their certificates verified. APICET counselling 2019 is the web based counselling process. The last date of certificate verification in counselling is August 19, 2019 for all the remaining ranks. The admission option exercise starts on August 19 and will close on August 21, 2019 for all the ranks. A processing fee of Rs.1200/- (Rs.600/- for SC/ST category) has to be paid online by the candidates appearing for APICET counselling 2019. 

AP ICET exam 2019 was held on April 26, 2019 by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programmes in University colleges and their affiliated colleges for the academic year beginning 2019.  After the release of AP ICET 2019 Rank Cards for the successful candidates, now APICET common counselling process has started for MBA/MCA Admission in University affiliated colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

AP ICET Counselling 2019: Important Dates & Key Information
Sri Venkateswara University monitors the AP ICET Counselling on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). According to the Notification dated August 8, 2019 released by the Convener, APICET 2019 Admission, following important dates and information for AP ICET counselling 2019 have been made available for MBA/MCA admission 2020 in the State of Andhra Pradesh

AP  ICET 2019 Counselling Documents
SVU has prescribed following AP ICET 2019 counselling documents required for certificate verification at the time of counselling. All original certificates and 2 sets of Xerox copies of the documents are required.

  • AP ICET -2019 Rank Card
  •  AP ICET -2019 Hall Ticket
  • Aadhar Card
  • S.S.C or its equivalent Marks memo, Intermediate or its equivalent Memo-Cum-Pass Certificate, Degree Memorandum of marks, Degree Provisional Pass Certificate, Study or Bonafide Certificate from IX class to Degree
  • Transfer Certificate (T.C)
  • Income Certificate issued on or after 01-01-2019 by competent authority, if applicable
  • Caste Certificate issued by competent authority, if applicable
  • Residence Certificate of candidate for a period of 7 years preceding to qualifying examination in case where the candidate has no institutionalized education
  • In respect of Non-Local candidates in order to consider them for allotment under unreserved seats the certificates needed are · Residence Certificate; (OR) · Employer Certificate 
     

Post AP ICET 2019 Counselling: Action by Students
After the AP ICET Counselling 2019 is over and seat allotment is completed, the candidates will have to take following actions:

  • Payment of Tuition Fee and self-reporting by the candidates through AP ICET 2019 official website
  • Report at the allotted college after AP ICET Counselling
  • Join the Classes at the allotted Institute

AP ICET 2nd Phase counselling 2019
Sri Venkateswara University  has not yet announced the AP ICET 2019 second counselling dates and will wait till the candidates finally report to the allotted college. Instead of instantly going for AP ICET 2nd counselling 2019, the SVU will first use the waiting list prepared in the first phase of AP ICET 2019 counselling. In case there is shortfall in the number of candidates, it is possible that the AP ICET 2nd counselling is conducted or the university may allow the colleges to offer admission to the candidates fulfilling eligibility norms for AP ICET 2019 counselling process in case the sufficient number of students do not report to the allotted college after completion of AP ICET counselling 2019.

AP ICET 2nd Phase Counselling 2019: Process for Minority category Candidates

  • Minority candidates (Muslim / Christian) who have not qualified or not appeared in AP ICET -2019 exam and who secured 50% (for OC) and 45% (for others) in aggregate marks Degree or its equivalent Examination will be considered for the leftover seats in respective minority colleges, if any, after exhausting all the qualified Minority candidates of AP ICET-2019 in final phase of counselling.
  • However, these candidates are not eligible for Fee Reimbursement Scheme.

AP ICET 2019 Counselling Process
With the AP ICET 2019 rank card, the candidates opting for MBA/MCA admission in Andhra Pradesh colleges are allotted seats through AP ICET 2019 counselling process detailed as under:

  • Check the AP ICET 2019 counselling Notification on the AP ICET official website
  • Check your AP ICET 2019 Rank wise counselling schedule
  • Register and approach the AP ICET 2019 Helpline centre for counselling
  • Participate in the AP ICET Counselling by paying the counselling fee
  • You will get the AP ICET Counselling Registration Fee Receipt with your unique Registration ID and password. Keep it safe and diarise the details
  • Get one original and 2 copies of required documents for verification at the Document Verification Centre/Helpline centre
  • Enter options online. Enter as many web options as possible to have a wider choice for seat allotment
  • After submission of web options, the university will make seat allotment. Earlier submission may give out better results in AP ICET 2019 counselling.
  • Report to the allotted college by the scheduled date advised in AP ICET counselling  

AP ICET 2019 Counselling Eligibility

  • Candidates who had qualified in AP ICET-2019 and who have secured 50% (for OC) and 45% (for others) in aggregate marks in their graduation Degree or its equivalent Examination  are eligible to apply and participate in AP ICET 2019 Counselling process.
  • Candidate should  be an Indian National and should belong to the State of Andhra Pradesh
  • The candidate seeking admission to MBA programme though AP ICET 2019 counselling process should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree Examination of minimum three years duration

Payment of Tuition Fee and Fee Refund Before AP ICET 2nd Phase Counselling 2019  
APSCHE  has clarified that ‘if the candidate does not pay the prescribed Tuition Fee within the schedule mentioned in AP ICET Counselling 2019, the provisional allotted seat automatically stands cancelled and he / she shall not have any claim on the provisionally allotted seat.’

  • After payment of the Tuition Fee, if the candidate cancels the provisionally allotted seat through online on or before commencement of second phase of counselling full Tuition Fee paid will be refunded.
  • Follow the further instructions printed on the provisional allotment order.
  • If the candidate cancels his / her admission, the Tuition Fee paid will be forfeited upto  50% after second phase of AP ICET 2019 Counselling and 100% after spot admission notification.   

The eligible and qualified candidates of  AP CET-2019 desirous of seeking admission into MBA and MCA Courses have to pay the AP ICET 2018 Counselling fee of Rs.1200/- (Rs.600 for SC/ST). After making payment of Processing Fee, Certificate Verification and Option Exercise they are allotted the seat in the college.

AP ICET 2019 Merit List for Counselling Released
The AP ICET exam based merit list to participate in CAP Counselling for admission to various courses has been released for various categories:

  • NCC Merit List
  • CAP Merit List with Priorities
  • Sports & Games Merit List

Along with this, the application form specimen, certificate specimen for award of Local Status of Students migrated from Telangana to AP  has also been released with important instructions to enable the students to get admission in colleges in Andhra Pradesh through common counselling. 

The Seat allotment will be based on AP ICET 2019 Counselling for different courses in Andhra Pradesh colleges. However, in case the candidates who do not report to the allotted colleges by the scheduled date through the AP ICET Counselling 2019 Process may have their candidature cancelled and in their place the wait listed candidates may get admission opportunity in the AP ICET 2nd phase counselling 2019.
