CAT 2024 Exam Analysis includes analysis of CAT Exam Pattern; Section-wise Topics, Type of Questions and Difficulty Level; and CAT Score Vs Percentile Predictions. CAT 2024 exam pattern and type of questions saw some changes compared to CAT 2023. Total number of questions went up from 66 last year to 68 questions in CAT 2024. Verbal Ability (VA) and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR) sections saw some modifications split of MCQs and TITA/Non MCQ questions. In the Verbal Ability section, there were no Paragraph Jumble questions. In the DILR section, with 22 questions in total, the number of sets increased from 4 to 5. DILR section was significantly easier compared to last year.
CAT 2024 Slot 1 - Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension Section
The VA-RC section consisted of 16 Reading Comprehension questions and 8 Verbal Ability questions. There were no direct Grammar or Vocabulary questions. Two of the passages were easy to moderate. Check question topics and type of questions below.
