CAT Exam Centers 2024:

Following exam cities are clubbed to one city, so make your choice judiciously:

• Noida and Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh are clubbed into one test city for CAT exam
• Faridabad and Gurgaon in Haryana are clubbed as one Test city for CAT exam

All out efforts would be made by CAT exam Centre to allot the nearest test city to the applicant’s address. CAT 2024 test cities have been increased to accommodate higher number of test takers. The important details about the CAT test venues in these CAT test cities 2024 will be made available on the CAT 2024 website in August 2024. The name of the CAT test centre within the test city will be indicated in your CAT Admit Card.   

• Candidates will be given the option to select five test cities in order of preference
• Cities and centres will be assigned to the candidates only after the last date for CAT 2024 registration is over
• Candidates need not rush to block slots and cities in the initial days of registration
• Although IIMs try their best to assign candidates to their first preferred city, in case this is not possible, they will be assigned a city following their given order of preference.
• Candidates will not be able to select the exam session because it will be assigned randomly.  

All the important cities in Delhi NCR, which were clubbed into one city earlier were separated but are clubbed again. Now the CAT applicants from Delhi NCR can choose any six preferred test cities out of them. The cities available for Delhi NCR candidates are:

3.1 Facility to Save Travel Time

The wastage of time due to running and travelling to a CAT test centre in Delhi NCR stands reduced for CAT 2024. Finding that CAT test takers will be at loss, IIM Calcutta has taken the matter a bit seriously and has cleared the confusion. Now there are sufficient and clearly marked test city choices without creating any confusion. 

State wise list of CAT 2024 exam centers is shared below. IIMs reserve the right to change or cancel any test centre / city and/or change the test time and date at their own discretion.
