A Public Notice, as below, regarding the CMAT answer key release 2024 was displayed on the NTA CMAT website on May 23, to provide an opportunity to the candidates to challenge the Provisional Answer Keys.

• CMAT answer key 2024 and response sheet will be displayed for all the question sets on CMAT exam website
• Only the candidates who have appeared in CMAT 2024 exam can view, print and verify the CMAT 2024 answer keys on NTA-CMAT official website
• Display of recorded responses and CMAT exam Answer Key for inviting challenges on NTA’s website are available for 4 days, with an objection form to challenge CMAT 2024 answer keys
• The candidates, who are not satisfied with the answer keys and recorded responses, can challenge by filling online application (Objection) form
• A processing charge of Rs.200/- per question must be paid online to challenge the each CMAT answer key 2024. 
• Only paid challenges made during stipulated time through key challenge link will be considered.
• The NTA’s decision on the challenges shall be final and no further communication will be entertained. NTA will not inform the Candidates individually about their challenges
• The subject experts will examine all the challenges received and then a final answer key will be displayed and declared
• The result will be compiled on the basis of the CMAT Final Answer Key declared

National Testing Agency will display the CMAT answer key 2024 and response sheet 2024 with CMAT objection form to challenge the CMAT answer key 2024 on the NTA CMAT exam official website cmat.nta.nic.in, prior to declaration of CMAT result. According to NTA,“Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of subject experts. If found correct, the answer key will be revised accordingly. Based on the revised Final Answer Key, the result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge. The key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final.”

• Click on Display Question paper and Responses
• Login either with your CMAT application number and password Or with application number and date of birth

• Go to CMAT 2024 official website
• Click on Challenge Answer Keys

• Step-1: Open CMAT 2024 website and click on the icon – CMAT 2024 Answer key responses
• Step-2: Use CMAT Login ID to download the CMAT 2024 answer keys PDF file

Step-4: How to Challenge the CMAT Answer Key 2024?

In case you are not satisfied with the correct answer key as given on the CMAT website, you can challenge the answer keys through CMAT Answer Key Challenge Window.

Procedure How to Challenge Answer Key of CMAT 2024

1. Please go to official CMAT 2024 website
2. Click ‘Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key’ button.
3. Login with your Application Number and Date of Birth and enter Security Pin as displayed and then click on Submit button.
4. You will be able to see 100 Questions IDs along with Option IDs & Correct Option IDs, they are in sequential order.
5. The Option IDs next to the Question ID under the column ‘Correct Option(s)/Answer’ is correct answer key.
6. If you wish to challenge this option, you may select one or multiple Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking in the check box.
7. If you want to upload supporting documents, you can select ‘Choose File’ and upload (all documents to be put in a single pdf file).
8. After clicking your desired option, scroll down, ‘submit your Claim’ and move to next screen.
9. You will be able to see a display of all the Option IDs which you want to challenge.
10. Click on ‘Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally’.
11. Select Mode of Payment and Pay your processing fee @ Rs.200/- for each question challenged. You have to make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking only.

• The Fee to challenge CMAT official answer key is Rs.200/- per question
• The processing charges can be paid by credit/debit card/Net banking
• The processing charge once paid is non-refundable

On the issue of examining, entertaining and taking final decision on the challenges submitted by the candidates on the CMAT Answer Keys, the National Testing Agency has clarified, “The NTA’s decision on the challenges shall be final and no further communication will be entertained.”

NTA has further clarified that No Grievance with regard to CMAT answer key(s) after declaration of result of CMAT will be entertained nor shall there be a provision for re-valuation/re-checking of the CMAT Score and no correspondence in this regard shall be entertained by NTA

• Along with the CMAT Answer key, the NTA displays the CMAT Question Paper Attempted by the candidate
• CMAT 2024 Question paper and Answer Keys are made live on the NTA’s website cmat.nta.nic.in.
• The candidates, who are not satisfied with the CMAT answer keys, may challenge them by filling online application form
• NTA’s decision on the CMAT answer key challenge shall be final and no further communication will be entertained
• The result of CMAT 2024 exam will be compiled on the basis of final CMAT 2024 answer keys
• No grievance with regard to CMAT answer key(s) after last date to challenge the CMAT answer key will be entertained.

NTA has confirmed that the CMAT result will be released after finalizing the CMAT answer keys. According to NTA, “The result will be compiled on the basis of final answer keys.”

Clarifying further NTA has shared, “The raw (actual) marks obtained by a candidate will be considered further for computation of the Result of CMAT-2024. No Score Card will be dispatched to the candidates and the candidates are advised to download their Score Cards from the website: cmat.nta.nic.in only.”

Each correct answer in CMAT 2024 carries +4 marks and each wrong answer will impose a negative penalty of -1 mark.
