GIMS Greater Noida Director: Dr Bhupinder Kr Som is the Director of GIMS Greater Noida. He is Professor in the area of  Statistics, Operations and Business Analytics. He is a Ph.D. from the Department of Statistics and Operations Research, Kurukshetra University in Stochastic Queuing Systems. His expertise lies in the area(s) of statistics, operation research, queuing systems, data analysis, and research methods. Dr Som possesses over 20 years of experience in teaching, research, and consulting. Guiding three Ph.D. candidates in the area of stochastic financial models and priority queues. Currently holding the position of Director GNIOT Institute of Management (GIMS). His previous assignments include Dean Professional Outreach at JIMS, Rohini, Deputy Director at FIIB, New Delhi, Director Lloyd Business School and Dean PGDM IB/FPM at JIMS, Rohini. He authors over 100 publications in journals of international repute with high indexing such as SCI, Scopus, WoS, etc. He delivered talks and presented his research work in international and national conferences in India and overseas conducted by institutions of international repute such as IIM - A, IIM - I, IIM - S, Tsukuba University - Japan, IRAMMT - USA, MMTI - Thailand, Tribhuvan University - Nepal. He has won many awards for his research work. He concluded consulting projects in the area of data analysis and forecasting with certain corporate. Dr Som expanded the domain of research in the field of neural networks, data analytics, and transient analysis.
