SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Hyderabad is led by Dr Seema Gupta, Director NMIMS Hyderabad. She has about 30 years of work experience spanning academia, corporate sector and startups. She was Dean, School of Business, Galgotias University from 2023-2024. Before that she was Director, Great Learning from 2021 - 2023, a leading higher education company. Dr Seema Gupta was a tenured faculty at IIM Bangalore from 2006-2021. She was Chairperson of M.B.A. program for working professionals and was also part of the institute branding committee. Before IIMB, she was faculty at MICA Ahmedabad from 2001-2006. Before entering academia, Dr Gupta started her career with RPG Group in Sales and Marketing. She is a Visiting Faculty at Egade University, Mexico and Esan University, Peru. Dr Seema holds PhD in Commerce and Management from Sukhadia University in 2001, M.B.A from R. A. Podar Institute of Management in 1993 and B.A. from Rajasthan University in 1991.

Dr. Gupta has done corporate training on Digital Marketing for leading companies such as 3M, John Distilleries, Ajanta Pharma, Arvind Brands, Union Bank among others. She has been the Director for many Executive General Management Programmes for companies such as Syntel, KPMG etc. Dr. Gupta has provided consultancy for government as well as private organizations such as Karnataka State Seeds Corporation, Indcoserve, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Karnataka Milk Marketing Federation, Nilon’s, Gaursons, ABA Corp, Mapsko, Aranyani brands. She founded two startups of her own in B2B and B2C E- commerce space and successfully raised seed fund. She was actively engaged with N. S. Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning at IIM Bangalore where she mentored many startups on growth strategies using digital marketing. Her textbook on Digital Marketing is the market leader and used across top B- schools.

NMIMS School of Business Hyderabad faculty are highly qualified and experienced. Most of the NMIMS Full time faculty have PhD qualifications and are research focused. NMIMS also has national and international visiting faculty. Adjunct faculty drawn from top industry and corporate also teach at NMIMS.
