IIM Jammu offers Merit, Merit cum Means and Government of India scholarships in its programmes. Since 2022 IIM Jammu has also announced to offer Rs.1.5 lakh scholarship on International Exchange programme to Meritorious students of EWS category.

Besides, for PhD students various scholarships and grants are awarded by IIM Jammu. IIM Jammu full-time Research Scholars get the fellowship which covers all academic expenses (consisting of tuition, computer, library, placement, and alumni fees) and living expenses (comprising boarding and lodging, excluding energy charges). A research scholar will be entitled to a monthly stipend of Rs. 45,000 per month (after commencement of the Programme). Additional allowances will also be available to the candidate towards Contingency Allowance of Rs. 40,000 per year; For Purchase of Laptop, Rs. 50,000 one-time Allowance will be given and to attend International and National Conferences, up to Rs. 2,00,000 during the Ph.D. program will be given after successfully clearing the comprehensive exam
