The curriculum for the first year of an MBA program covers a broad array of core management disciplines. The Student Progression Program is designed to facilitate holistic personal and professional growth by encouraging self-reflection, competency mapping, and self-discovery. This program guides students through a transformative journey, helping them reflect on their strengths, weaknesses, and career aspirations.
The Day 1 Industry Ready initiative prepares students to seamlessly transition into the professional world from the very first day of their careers. This readiness is facilitated through several targeted programs such as Ken & Economist and Careers & Conversations.
1. Entrance Exams: Eligible candidates will have to appear for CAT/XAT/GMAT/NMAT/CMAT//MAT/ATMA/PERA-CET/CUET
2. Form filling: Candidates seeking K J Somaiya Institute of Management MBA Sports Management admissions must apply by filling out the online application form. Students can visit the Admission Overview page and fill out the Somaiya Application form.
4. PI Process: PI process will be conducted online. A Statement of Purpose needs to be submitted specifying the aspirant’s reason for joining this programme.
5. Online Seat Allotment: Candidates can log in to the application form to view the status of their application. Candidates will be offered the programme based on their results, and the availability of seats.
Note: Candidates applying through NMAT & GMAT are required to select K J Somaiya Institute of Management as one of the institutes for sending their scores in NMAT & GMAT application forms/portal respectively.

1. Application: Aspiring candidates can complete the online application form on the institute’s official website. Applicants are allowed to apply for more than one program if interested.
2. Shortlist for PI: Candidates are shortlisted based on profile. MBA Sports Management Students also require filling the Statement of Purpose (SOP) if shortlisted
3. PI (Personal Interview): Shortlisted candidates must participate and undergo a comprehensive Personal in-depth interview. The GD-PI process will be conducted across different cities across India.
4. Online Seat Allotment: Candidates will be offered the programme based on their results, preference, and the availability of seats.
The application fee is Rs. 1,000/- (Non-refundable)
The students should fill out the online application form, which is available on the institute admission portal
