SPJIMR Mumbai Admission Process is designed keeping in mind that best talent should join the institute. SPJIMR’s selection process assesses not only intellectual readiness in terms of academics but also considers emotional readiness, work experience, extra-curricular activities and aptitude that are aligned with the Institute’s mission of influencing managerial practice and promoting values-based growth. SPJIMR Admission process is divided into four parts – Application submission & Taking CAT/GMAT exam; Shortlisting, PI round and final selection as below:
Step-1: Application: Register and Apply for CAT/GMAT exam and separately Apply for SPJIMR Admission online
Step-2: Shortlisting: SPJIMR follows unique shortlisting process. The applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of their profiles and they are also expected to meet the qualifying scores in the entrance exam. The profiles are scored and the applicants are sorted into two groups: Profile based and Profile-cum-score based. SPJIMR Mumbai gives higher emphasis on other quality parameters in its admission process than merely on entrance exam scores. The shortlist will be based on Consistency of academic record; Relevance of work experience for the chosen specialization; Versatility and achievements. Step-3: PI Round: The Applicants shortlisted based on their profile will be called for an early interview. Early interviews are convenient as it avoids overlapping with other interview calls during the admissions season.
Step-4: Final selection: Final merit list will be based on Performance in PI round and on various factors such as-Academic background, Work experience, Entrance scores, Versatility and achievements.
