SJMSOM IIT Bombay Scholarships

IIT Bombay offers many Institute Based Merit Scholarships, Corporate sponsored Scholarships. Government scholarships, Need based and other scholarships to students in 1st and 2nd year of the MBA courses to support them to pursue the management program with reduced financial burden. A few scholarships being offered at SJMSOM IIT Bombay are as below:

IIT Bombay Merit Scholarships for MBA Program

  • Based on the student’s performance in the semester exams approximately 20% of the students are beneficiary of the various scholarships which come from various endowment funds at IIT Bombay
  • A few other scholarships are available centrally from IIT-B
  • SC and ST candidates get the benefit of fee waiver and are exempted from paying the tuition fees.

Financial Assistance/ Loan for SJMSOM IIT Bombay MBA fees
IIT Bombay has State Bank of India & Canara Bank at its campus. They offer following financial assistance/loan schemes to the IIT Bombay MBA students:

  • SBI Scholar Loan: SBI offers one Education Loan Scheme exclusively for reputed institutes like SJMSOM & IIT Bombay, named “SBI Scholar Loan”. It’s a pre-approved loan scheme subject to submission of required documents by students. The loan is sanctioned by the campus branch itself. It is a collateral free loan with lower interest rate and carries interest subsidy during moratorium period for the students whose family income is below 4.50 lacs. There is also no processing fees. The first semester fees paid to the institute is also reimbursable. 
  • Canara Bank Vidya Turant Scheme: Canara bank also offers similar kind of education loan to the students of SJMSOM under the scheme of Vidya Turant. This is also a collateral free loan with lower interest rate & this also comes with interest subsidy scheme for students whose family income is less than 4.5 lacs.
