Dr Manoj Tiwari, is the Vice Chancellor of  Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai. He is holding this additional charge in addition to the post of Director of IIM Mumbai (Formerly NITIE). As TISS has been converted to a university, the leadership position has also been converted to Vice Chancellor from erstwhile Director.

TISS faculty is one of the best in India, possessing top academic qualifications and rich teaching and industry experience. Most of the faculty members are Ph.D. and are engaged in high quality research work. Many TISS Faculty members are PhD from IIMs and IITs and from Foreign Universities. Most of the permanent faculty are with 10+ years of teaching experience. Besides TISS has number of visiting faculty members with rich Industry Experience.
