The applicants should register and apply online for CAT exam at iimcat.ac.in and also separately apply for IIFT admission by making payment of requisite application fee 
IIFT MBA Admission is through Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs. IIFT does not conduct anymore its own entrance exam. IIFT admission process has following steps:
Step-1: Register and Submit Application & Take CAT exam by making payment of requisite CAT registration fees 
Step-2: Submit separate Application for IIFT Admission by making payment of IIFT application fee
Step-3: IIFT will Shortlist candidates for Extempore-GD-PI round based on CAT cut off and Gender Diversity. Following weightage will be awarded to different components in IIFT shortlisting process for PI round: 
Step-4: Shortlisted candidates need to participate in IIFT Final Selection Round comprising Extempore, GD, PI, WAT 
Step-5: Final Merit List of more than 300 students will be generated after completion of IIFT final selection round based on CAT score, PI round and various other attributes & weightages
 

• Admission to the Executive Programme will be offered by the Institute based on candidates’ fulfillment of eligibility conditions and ability to synchronize programme objectives with personal career goals.
• All applicants meeting the eligibility criteria will be called for personal interview. 
• The final selection will be based on the candidate’s overall performance in the personal interview, Past academic record, experience, motivation to complete the program. Willingness to excel would get weightage in overall assessment for admission.

Submit application online with enclosures

• All the eligible candidates will be called for the offline Entrance Exam. 
• The entrance test syllabus consists of 50% of research methodology and 50% shall be subject specific
• Students who score 50% marks in the entrance test are eligible to be called for the interview.  A relaxation of 5% marks will be allowed in the entrance examination for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/differently- abled category, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) 
• Candidates who would qualify for the Written Entrance Test will be called for the Interview.

Exemption from Written Entrance Examination: 

• UGC NET-JRF qualified candidates are exempted from the Written Entrance Examination. UGC NET-JRF qualified candidates will be called for the interviews on the basis of their scores in the UGC NET-JRF Exam and a separate list will be released

• IIFT IPM Admission is a two step process:
• The applicants should apply for IPMAT conducted by IIM Indore and also apply separately for IIFT IPM Admission 
• IIFT will use score of IPMAT cut off for short-listing/selecting the candidates for its IPM programme
• For final selection in IIFT IPM Admission, IIFT will prepare Merit list for selection of the candidate on the basis of his/her IPMAT Score, Academic Profile of class 10th and Gender Diversity as per following weightage
