IIM Sirmaur admission criteria is different for different programmes. While the admission to 2 years full MBA programmes is through CAT exam score; the admission for PhD programme is through GMAT/GRE/NET JRF scores apart from CAT.
IIM Sirmaur final admission for MBA programmes is through the common PI round CAP conducted for new IIMs and through its own Supernumerary Admission Process which is conducted for Girl students who are not shortlisted for CAP round due to their lower CAT percentile. IIM Sirmaur reduces its CAT score cut off for such applicants and conducts its own final selection round for them.
IIM Sirmaur announces its admission policy after the CAT registration process starts and much before the release of CAT result. As IIM Sirmaur participates in IIM Common Admission Process (CAP) for new IIMs, its admission policy and cut offs can be modified as per the common requirement of CAP participating IIMs. IIM Sirmaur can also modify MBA selection criteria and cut-offs mentioned at any time till the actual MBA admission procedure for the batch is completed.
