KMAT 2023 Exam Analysis with expected cut offs in top MBA colleges of Bangalore and Karnataka will be Published immediately after the KMAT exam is over on November 5, 2023. KMAT 2023 is not a high difficulty level exam. Since the exam does not impose the penalty of negative marking, the cut off scores may go high.

The Karnataka KMAT test pattern and type of questions in the three test sections as reflected in KMAT exam structure reveals that KMAT 2023 will have a moderate question pattern with low difficulty level. Since no percentile score calculation is proposed in KMAT 2023 result declaration, the score awarded to the test takers will suffice to enable them to apply in any of the 189+ B-schools located in Bangalore and rest of Karnataka without any regional preference.
Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) also releases KMAT Mock Test to help test-takers to know the KMAT test pattern and practice the question type to avoid any confusion on the test day.

Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2023, like last year KMAT, will be the gateway to MBA/PGDM/MCA 2023 programmes in more than 189 institutes located in Bangalore and Karnataka. In 2016, it was the first time that KMAT was conducted as National test offering equal admission opportunity to all the candidates across India.
Questions in KMAT exam remain as per the syllabus announced by KPPGCA. KMAT 2023 would also have the questions based on Grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension of passages etc. There will be questions on understanding of the contents of the passages and choice of appropriate words, phrases, expressions and similar language skills. This includes the passages with questions based on their contents to test comprehension.

KMAT 2023: Exam with Moderate Difficulty
Last year KMAT was on expected pattern with 120 questions divided in three sections. The exam was of moderate difficulty level. Below is shared the Section wise analysis of KMAT exam:
Section-1: Language Comprehension
This section contained two parts – Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension.
Verbal Ability: Moderate difficulty MCQs
The Verbal Ability section which usually frightens many candidates did not pose high difficulty before the test takers in the national level KMAT last year. You may again anticipate following type of questions in KMAT 2023. If you prepare well and practice a little, you can score high in this section of KMAT 2023.

Section-2: Mathematical Skills
Out of the 40 questions in this section in KMAT, around 18 questions were based on Arithmetic like Interest, Percentages, Time and Work, Averages Percentage, Profit, Loss, Partnership. The questions were a little time consuming although were moderately difficult. Other questions consisted of Venn diagrams, Equations, Ratio, Proportion & Variation, Geometry & Mensuration, Permutation and Combinations, Probability.
The questions were moderate and those who practiced more could attempt more questions in this section. Higher percentile would be waiting for those candidates who did this section well.
Section-3: Basic Aptitude
This section in KMAT exam had 40 MCQs. More number of questions on Analytical and logical reasoning and fewer questions were there on Critical reasoning. Questions were based on calendar, distribution, assertions reasons, blood relations, analogies, direction, series, statements. The questions were formed in sets as well as individual questions. The section was a little lengthy with moderate level of difficulty.
