IIM Kozhikode has completed 100% placements 2024 for its large 2022-24 Batch of 537 students. The average salary in placement 2024 has witnessed 9% dip which has gone down to Rs.28.05 LPA from Rs.31.02 LPA while highest salary has gone up to Rs.72 LPA from Rs.67.02 LPA last year. IIMK concluded its final Placement 2024 with 33% offers in Consulting sector and 28% offers in Finance Domain. 156 recruiters including 70 new recruiters participated in IIM Kozhikode Placements 2024.
Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode witnessed 100% placements 2024 for the large 26th PGP 2022-24 batch and 3rd 2022-24 batches of PGP-LSM and PGP-Finance comprising 537 students participating in the placements process. The offers were rolled out by 156 recruiters including 70 new companies.
While the Highest Salary in IIM Kozhikode placements 2024 has gone up by 7% at Rs.72 LPA from Rs.67.02 LPA last year, the average salary has gone down by 9% at Rs.28.05 LPA from Rs.31.02 LPA last year. This Placement season was a great success with 100% placements for the 26th batch of flagship PGP Programme and the 3rd batches of the PGP- Finance (PGP-F) and PGP- Liberal Studies and Management (PGP-LSM).

Consulting Records 33% Share in Placement 2024: Average Salary-Rs.30.96 LPA
Around 33% of the offers were rolled out by the consulting cluster this season. The highest salary offered in this domain was Rs.45 LPA while the average salary was Rs.30.96 LPA. As such, the consulting domain has emerged as a significant contributor, accounting for a substantial percentage of offers. Marquee consulting firms, such as Accenture Strategy, Bain, BCG, Deloitte, Everest, EY, GDi, GEP, Infosys Management Consulting, KPMG, MXV Consulting, PwC, Tata Communications, Technip Energies and Titan recruited from the campus reaffirming the position as a Premier B-School.
Finance Records 28% share in Placements 2024: Average Salary-Rs.26.11 LPA
28% offers were made in the Finance domain by marquee recruiters. The highest salary in Finance domain stood at Rs.72 LPA while Average salary was Rs.26.11 LPA. This year too, IIM Kozhikode remained a top choice for finance careers. Recruiters like Axis Bank, BNP Paribas, Citi Bank, D.E. Shaw, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase & Co., and Standard Chartered offered diverse finance roles. Further, Ambit Capital, Equirus, GEF Capital Partners, Lodha Capital Markets, Nomura, Pavestone, Piramal Alternatives, and Xponentia Capital offered Front End IB and PEVC roles.

The IT & Analytics domain contributed to 15% of the total offers with average salary at Rs.28.31 LPA and Highest salary offered at Rs. 67.02 LPA. A combination of marquee recruiters like Accenture Technology, American Express, Air India, Amazon, EXL Analytics, HSBC Technology, IndiGo, Media.net, Mercedes Benz, Microsoft, Walmart & Wipro with many offered the coveted Product Management role.
Sales & Marketing Registers 10% share in Placement 2024: Average Salary-Rs.26.12 LPA
Sales and Marketing contributed to 10% of the total offers with highest salary at Rs.35 LPA and Average Salary at Rs.26.12 LPA. IIM Kozhikode witnessed an enthusiastic participation from major recruiters such as BP Castrol, DRL, Johnson & Johnson, Meesho, Maruti Suzuki, HUL, ITC, PepsiCo, PhonePe, Pidilite, Reckitt, Samsung, Tata Play, Tata Steel and Vodafone Idea
General Management Registers 8% share in Placement 2024: Average Salary-Rs.25.96 LPA
General Management domain has contributed 8% share in Placement 2024 with highest salary at Rs. 33 LPA and Average Salary at Rs.25.96 LPA. The domain saw diverse range of roles offered by 15+ companies, collectively accounting for 8% of the total offers. Adani, ABGLP, Airtel, Bajaj Consumer Care, Bajaj Finserv, Capgemini, Disney Star, Gevme, Hinduja, JSW, L’Oreal, Mahindra, Relinace, Renew Power, TAS and Vijaya Diagnostic Centre were among the companies that extended offers.
Operations Registers 6% share in Placement 2024: Average Salary-Rs.25.42 LPA
Operations contributed to 6% of the total offers with average salary at Rs.25.42 LPA and Highest Salary at Rs.49 LPA. Prominent recruiters in Operations included Amazon, Coca Cola, Flipkart & Uber. First-time recruiters, Apitoria, CPCL and P&G extended multiple roles in Operations. Some of the other prominent recruiters were Asian Paints, Diageo, Genpact and Tata Steel.
