IIM Shillong announces its admission policy after the CAT registration process starts and much before the release of CAT result. The approach of IIM Shillong to prepare the admission list for its MBA programme is based on following points. 

• Applying and Appearing in CAT Exam
• After release of CAT exam result, candidates need to register at IIM Shillong PGP admission website 
• Shortlist of candidates for Personal Interview (PI) will be released 
• PI round is conducted for shortlisted candidates
• Merit List is prepared based on CAT score, PI score, work experience and Profile score
