The answer key for XAT exam is released to maintain transparency in exam and to help candidates to check their responses with the correct answers. XLRI releases the XAT Answer key 3-4 days after the XAT exam on official XAT website. You can complete XAT Answer Key Download from official XAT website, by login with your XAT login ID and password. XAT 2025 response sheet will be released to enable the XAT exam takers to raise & file objection to the answers which appear wrong to the test takers. There are 4-5 sets of XAT question paper. XLRI releases the XAT answer key for all sets of XAT questions paper.
In the 72+ years history of XLRI - Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT), the XAT answer keys Pdf was released for the first time in January 2015 for XAT exam. The official XAT solutions 2025 contain the XAT answer keys for all the questions across all the questions sets of XAT test paper.
You should look for XAT answer key 2025 release announcement on the home page of XAT 2025 official website. Immediately after the announcement, XLRI releases the answer keys along with the XAT question paper. XLRI releases the XAT answer key on official XAT website only for the XAT test takers with all the important instructions.

XAT 2025 answer keys will be released by XLRI on its official XAT website. XAT Answer key download can be completed in following three steps:
If you are not satisfied with the XAT official answer, you can raise objection by making payment for challenging each answer key. The last date and time to challenge the XAT 2025 answer key is 2-3 days after release of the XAT answer key. The process closes at midnight.
Each correct answer in XAT 2025 carries +1 mark and each wrong answer will impose a negative penalty of -0.25 mark. However, there is no negative marking for wrong answers on questions in GK section. Following table will guide you about your expected score as per the XAT 2025 sectional composition:

XAT Solutions 2025 by XLRI is released in Pdf format. You can download XAT answer key Pdf for the three sections only for which XAT Answer key is released. XAT Answer key Pdf consists of the XAT answer keys for the questions in those sections which are counted for percentile calculation. XAT is now a computer based online test and is divided into Part 1 and Part 2, with 95 questions in MCQ format. While the XAT answer keys for 3 sections with 75 questions in Part-1 will help in assessing the score and percentile in XAT 2025 exam, the XAT answer keys for GK section serves no such purpose and therefore are not required as the score of GK section is not taken into account to prepare the percentile in XAT exam.
XAT answer keys which were released for the first time in 2015 had 84 answers. Total questions in XAT at that time were 114. There were 4 question paper sets titled A, B, C, D in XAT and XLRI had also released a separate document which contained only answer keys in respect to each set of XAT questions as well as all the 4 sets of question papers with solutions. Earlier, when XAT used to be paper based test, candidates were allowed to take the question booklet with them. Accordingly, XAT answer keys helped them to very well assess their position and could judge the scores they would be going to get based on the accuracy of the answered questions. The detailed XAT solutions with explanations also helped the test takers in ascertaining their chances to be shortlisted by XLRI or other top rated B schools and also provided them guidance for the future. However, with the computerized XAT exam now, XLRI releases the XAT Question Papers with solutions pdf as only XAT answer keys may not suffice.
