XAT Exam Eligibility Criteria 2025: Detailed Notes
- No Age Bar: XAT exam eligibility criteria 2025 prescribe ‘No Age Bar’ to appear in the XAT 2025 exam. Going along the XAT Eligibility Criteria, XLRI also does not restrict any candidate to seek admission on the basis of age and qualification.
- No Minimum Qualifying Marks: According to XAT exam Eligibility Criteria 2025, a candidate is eligible to appear in XAT 2025, if he/she holds recognized Bachelor’s Degree with minimum 3 years duration or equivalent in any discipline.
- XAT Eligibility Criteria & XLRI Eligibility are same: This is very important since the eligibility criteria in exams like CAT and eligibility criteria for admission to IIMs are different. While CAT allows 2 years of graduation degree without age bar, IIMs require minimum 3 years graduation degree which imposes hidden age bar. However, the XAT exam eligibility 2025 and the XLRI admission eligibility 2025 are same. On the pattern of XAT eligibility criteria, XLRI also does not impose minimum marks restriction in applying for the PGDM course.
- Complete Graduation by June 2025: Those completing their final graduation exam by June, 2025 may also apply. XAT eligibility criteria further clarify that candidates in final year of Graduation are also eligible to apply for XAT 2025.
- Certificate from Institution Head will Suffice for Admission: As per the XAT exam 2025 eligibility criteria, the candidates in final year of Bachelor’s Degree, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally. Clarifying further, the XAT Exam 2025 Eligibility Criteria describe that, if the candidate submits a certificate from the Principal/ Registrar of the College/Institute stating that the candidate has completed all the requirements for obtaining the bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification on the date of the issue of the certificate, he/she fulfils the XAT 2025 exam Eligibility criteria
- XAT 2025 Exam Eligibility Criteria for NRIs: While XAT 2025 exam eligibility criteria for domestic candidates require the candidates to appear in XAT 2025, which is the mandatory exam for admission to member and associate B-schools for Indian candidates for MBA/PGDM 2025-27 batch, the XAT 2025 exam eligibility for NRI and foreign candidates is relaxed as they may apply through their valid GMAT scores.
