Admission Process for Candidates for MBA (PGP) at IIM Lucknow is through CAT. The admission of the candidates for admission to the MBA at IIM Lucknow is a two-step process:

In the first step, candidates are short-listed for Personal Interview (PI) round from among the candidates who have a valid CAT score, who have applied to the programme and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the programme. Detailed Admission process is as below:

• The candidate must have appeared and scored the minimum required percentile in CAT. Candidates are short-listed for PI round which is conducted in many cities  
• Candidates are shortlisted from among the candidates who have a valid CAT score, who have applied to the programme and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the programme   
• After the PI round, IIM Lucknow will award weightages to various parameters and admission offers are made by IIM Lucknow to successful candidates. 
• The final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which includes performance in CAT, performance in PI round, academics, diversity, work experience among others

IIM Lucknow Admission process for MBA (E&I) is as below:

• Candidates will be shortlisted for the personal interview on the basis of their performance in the CAT/GMAT, scholastic achievement, gender, and relevant work experience. 
• The personal interview stage will comprise of a business plan presentation and interview. 
• Personal interviews will be conducted at Bengaluru, Mumbai, Noida, Lucknow.

Cut Off: 

The MBA E&I cut offs announced by IIM Lucknow to shortlist the candidates for admission for this programme are 90 percentile for CAT and 660 score in GMAT

Step by Step admission process for IIM Lucknow PGPWE programme is as below:

• Candidate should fill and submit the online Application Form and upload the scanned copies of the documents in support of the attainments mentioned in Eligibility Criteria
• Completed Application Form must be submitted by the last date 
• Applicant should have taken GMAT/ GRE/CAT/GATE or IIM Lucknow PGPWE Entrance Exam.
• Based on above exam score, candidates are shortlisted for Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview;
• A candidate’s final score for selection in PGPWE will be calculated based on the assigned weights  to different components 

• For FPM admission at IIM Lucknow, the Applicants will be shortlisted for the selection interview on the basis of valid score of one of the following exams: Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs, GATE, GRE, GMAT or JRF/SRF (UGC/CSIR/ICAR). Scores of any of these examinations including CAT taken during the last two years will only be considered valid.
• Applicants applying with a one/two/three year full-time classroom based PGDM from any of the IIMs/WMP of IIM Lucknow with a minimum CGPA of 6 on a 10 point scale would be exempted from taking any exam, and can apply directly through the prescribed Application Form..
• Admission to the programme is open to overseas applicants including NRIs and foreign nationals. Their admission will be based on GMAT/GRE scores obtained within previous one year.
